My journey to veterinary medicine is a little different than most. I started my undergrad years believing I wanted to be an optometrist. I was hired on as a kennel tech/vet assistant, in my senior year of college and had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Kyle Rozell. He practiced veterinary medicine differently than what I knew growing up, taking my family pets in for vet visits. Working alongside him, inspired me to pursue veterinary medicine. He also encouraged me to take the leap and experience my first year of vet school in Grenada, West Indies at St. George’s University. I transferred to Oklahoma State to be closer to family and friends and obtained my degree from OSU. I have a passion for dermatology and preventative care. I truly enjoy building a trusting relationship with my clients and their pets. During each visit, I want my clients to feel heard and know I have their pets best interests in mind. Bully breeds will always have a piece of my heart, especially my 15-year-old Carmen. My husband and I have two amazing kids, whom we are raising on our “ranch” in Ramona, OK. We are currently raising highland cattle and donkeys but looking to add more to the herd in the near future. We enjoy spending our free time outdoors, traveling, and taking our kids to sporting events. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
