Dr Kelley graduated Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. After practicing as an associate veterinarian in Tulsa for 2 years, he joined his college roommate, Dr. Spriggs in Owasso in 1999.
Dr.’s Kelley and Spriggs opened SAHO Owasso in 2006 and partnered with Dr. Strathe in 2013.
Dr. Kelley spends most of his time in surgery and mentoring younger veterinarians and staff.
Dr. Kelley has been very involved in the Owasso community. He is a past Chair of the Owasso Chamber of Commerce and spent 9 years on the Owasso City Council. 7 of the 9 years he spent as Mayor or Vice – Mayor.
Dr Kelley has been given awards for the character trait of “Benevolence” from the City of Owasso and the 2021 Community Impact Award from the Owasso Chamber of Commerce.
He was picked as Tulsa Worlds, People of the Year, Veterinarian, in 2019.
He was named the 2017 Companion Animal Practitioner of the Year by the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association.
In his free time, Dr. Kelley enjoys spending time with his wife, Katherine, and their three children, Emma, Lauren, and Nick, attending Oklahoma State and Owasso athletic events, fly fishing, and astrophotography. He also loves to talk about his extensive sports card and book collections.
