I cannot say enough good things about SAHO. Our 15 year old dog was struck by a vehicle and had to be put down. I arrived at SAHO at 8:30pm and they immediately took her back for evaluation. After it was determined that a humane euthanasia was her best option, they gave me time with her and explained everything in detail. I never felt rushed despite the fact the office was closing. They helped me with the cremation plans, helped with payment arrangements, and post-procedure they never rushed me to leave despite it being 10pm. They gave me time with her before and after without question. Thank you for not making it feel like just another procedure or just another day at the vet and for allowing enough time to process everything. I am thankful for all the kindness everyone showed during that time.

Our sweet elderly cat Oliver passed away this morning unexpectedly after his symptoms started last night. Dr. Greg walked us through the end of life vet visit in the best way he possibly could have. We didn't feel rushed and trusted the care we received for him. Thank you.

Excellent care and compassionate staff. Dr. McDougal is an angel. Saw dogs playing outside the doggy daycare area, and they were having a blast. I highly recommend SAHO for all pets!!

We made the very difficult decision to put our first family pet to sleep. She was 13 and a half, hips had finally and suddenly gone out, she was just not able to live life the way she had. I called at 7AM, gave them some general info, and they told us to come whenever we were ready and the comfort room would be ready. Around 8:30, we got there and they came to the car and got her out, gently, and carried her inside. The staff were all genuinely kind and compassionate. Dr. Nissen and Ashley both explained everything we needed to know, answered our kids' questions with care, and gave us as much time as we needed to say our final goodbyes to her. We were not clients there beforehand, but will be going forward. They took care of the post events as well, being cremation for us, and getting paw prints for us as well. They were never rude or in a rush. Words can't express how much their kindness meant to my entire family today.
